Conditions We Treat
Low Energy and Fatigue
Feeling tired all the time isn't something you should have to accept. If you're waking up exhausted, relying on caffeine to get through the day, or struggling with brain fog, the problem may be happening while you sleep. At Advanced Dentistry and Aesthetics, we take an airway-focused approach to identifying the causes of poor sleep, disrupted breathing, and chronic fatigue. By improving how you breathe at night, we can help you enjoy deeper, more restorative sleep and better energy during the day.

Treating Low Energy & Fatigue in Park City
Many people assume fatigue is simply part of getting older or living a busy life. In reality, airway restrictions, sleep-disordered breathing, snoring, and obstructive sleep apnea can prevent your body from reaching the deep stages of sleep it needs to recover. Our goal is to identify the underlying cause and create a personalized treatment plan that improves both your sleep quality and overall health. Dr. Peterson combines advanced airway dentistry with modern technology to evaluate how your teeth, jaw, tongue, and airway work together. When appropriate, we also collaborate with your physician or sleep specialist to ensure you receive comprehensive care.
Treatment Options
Rather than recommending the same solution for every patient, we customize treatment based on your diagnosis and long-term goals. Depending on your needs, your treatment plan may include:
- Mandibular Advancement Device to gently reposition the lower jaw and create more airway space while you sleep, reducing airway obstruction, improve breathing, and lessen snoring.
- NightLase® laser therapy, a non-invasive treatment that tightens oral tissues to help reduce airway collapse during sleep.
- Jaw expansion with miniscrew assisted custom 3-D printed appliance, (MARPE, MASPE, MAPE,) that increase tongue space and nasal breathing.
- Coordination with a physician when a sleep study or CPAP therapy is appropriate.
- Restorative dentistry when missing teeth or bite changes contribute to airway problems.
Our focus is always on finding the least invasive, most effective solution for improving your sleep and helping you feel your best.
What to Expect
Your visit begins with a comprehensive evaluation of your airway, jaw, bite, and overall oral health. We'll discuss your symptoms, sleep habits, medical history, and lifestyle before recommending the treatment options that best fit your needs. If additional testing is needed, we'll coordinate with your physician or a sleep specialist to ensure every aspect of your care is addressed. Throughout the process, you'll receive clear explanations, personalized recommendations, and ongoing support as your treatment progresses.
Better Sleep. Better Health.
Improving the quality of your sleep can have a meaningful impact on nearly every part of your life. Patients often notice more consistent energy, improved focus, fewer morning headaches, reduced snoring, and better overall well-being after addressing airway-related concerns. Because every patient is different, we carefully monitor your progress and adjust treatment as needed to help you achieve lasting results.
